There is nothing better than photographing someone doing something that they love - their personality just shines through. Layla is only a month shy of 12 years old but already has great talent in playing the violin as well as dancing. She started playing the violin at the age of 4 and dancing at the age of 2. She also adores her puppy, Abbie, who is one of the cutest pups in town.
I captured these images of her in her home. She was so much fun to work with, so relaxed and a real natural in front of the camera. It was also so nice for me to give direction and have them followed, opposed to the usual "NO" and running away I get from the many toddlers i shoot (insert face palm emoji here!)
Abbie the pup was also so well behaved although she may have required some tasty bribes for a couple of the shots (which also works well on toddlers ;)
