Melbourne Preschool Photographer 

Inspired by my own daughter, I am passionate in creating authentic and timeless images of children. 

 

I offer a boutique pre-school photography experience, only booking a limited number of school sessions a year, allowing me the time to capture the images without rushing the children as well as to edit all images according to my style and high standards.

The best part of the job for me is working with the kids! I engage with them on their level, keep things fun and allow their beautiful personalities to shine through in their images.

Scope of work

I come to the school and set up for the session wherever there is the best natural light (no flash to scare the kids). I may use a plain black background at times, if I feel it’s required. Otherwise I just find a suitable spot on the premises (outside or next to a large window inside).

​

I aim to take individual portraits of each child, sibling shots and one group/class photo. I’m happy to accommodate siblings who do not attend the school, provided the school allows this. If needed, I do complimentary staff photos too.

​

While I try to keep things as streamlined as possible and generally work quite quickly with each child, I also never rush them. Therefore, if I need to take a bit more time with some who may be a camera shy, I’m happy to do that.

I want this to be an enjoyable experience for the children too and strive to make it fun for them.

​

Upon booking we plan out how many days I’m likely to be at the school, dependent on the number of children and their days of attendance.

 

Cost and Products

There is no cost to the school for my services and no obligation for parents to purchase.

​

My products are competitively priced (with prints starting at $10) with a variety of ordering options and packages available.

Products include standard lustre photographic prints, wallet strips, magnet sets and high-end fine art mounted prints.

I also offer digital files and the option to upgrade to the full digital gallery at a discounted price. There is no minimum order and therefore I'm affordable and cater for all budgets.

 

I provide samples for display at the school so parents can see and feel the quality of the products before ordering.

Gallery viewing and ordering

Families can view and order everything online. Each child’s gallery is password protected and each family will receive their unique access code via email or hard copy letter. For any queries, parents can contact me directly.

​

All images are edited by me and will be available to view within three weeks of the session end date. Once the gallery links are sent out to the families, orders are then due within two weeks. Product delivery is typically within 2-4 weeks of the order deadline. All products will be delivered to the school while links to the digital files will be emailed to the parents within one week of the order being placed.

​

When and where to book

I generally book one session per month, starting in the second school term. This allows me to offer personalised and valuable service to the school and their families.
